From Rome to Bruges

ROME

The renowned piano duo and sisters Katia and Marielle Labèque grew up in southern France and moved all around Europe the past 25 years. Today they live in a historic building in Rome and collaborated with Axel Vervoordt for the design of their gorgeous apartment and studio.

Since Katia and Marielle met Axel Vervoordt in the early ‘80s at the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, they collaborated with him on everyone of their homes.

I want to congratulate my friend and interior designer Natalie Haegeman with the featuring in the Belgian magazine TIJDLOOS. The February issue of the magazine features the guesthouse White Rooms in Bruges, which is completely decorated by Natalie. A few months ago I wrote about the guesthouse HERE.
